Let's join «Global Money Week»!

As part of «Global Money Week» events are held in more than 200 countries worldwide from March 18-24 each year to improve the financial literacy of younger citizens. The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic is the coordinator of «Global Money Week 2024» in Kyrgyzstan.

In the context of this event, «KSB Commercial Bank» held a training session on the theme of this year's slogan, «Protect Your Money - Secure Your Future!».

More than 40 students from the Faculty of Economics at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, studying in the field of «Finance and Credit», took great interest in the discussion about the importance of financial literacy in the lives, cultures, and careers of all citizens. Young bankers were given the opportunity to do internships and work experience at the bank, as well as learn about the benefits of banking products.



The Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Natalia Brovko, stated:

«We are delighted to provide this opportunity. Such training sessions and meetings are very beneficial and have a motivating effect on students».

In addition, training was conducted for the 11th graders of Lebedinovskaya Gymnasium School №2. Students were introduced to modern banking products that allow them to manage their finances flexibly and conveniently. The form of the lesson, in the form of a dialogue and training, helped them to easily assimilate information about saving and financial planning. This aroused great interest in the topic being studied.



The director of Lebedinovskaya School №2, Ms. Omurova, stated at the end of the class:

«This lesson has been very useful for the 11th graders, as they are about to start choosing a profession and enter student life».
